The photographer should be open and willing to work with the couple to get the photos that the couple wants, not just offering a standard package with no customization. If you don't think the photographer is understanding the type of pictures you want, keep looking.
Bringing a sample of the style, type or pose of wedding photo you want will help the photographer be able to recreate that type of photo at your wedding. He or she should be willing to take several shots of each pose to make sure you get the one that is just what you wanted.
